Light a Candle
Ora Lee Herman was born July 20.1930 to James and Elizabeth Wallace in Boling, Texas. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Shiloh baptist Chruch by the late Pastor Johnny James.
On January 26.2012,God called her home. she leaves to mourn her memory all of her children - Regina, Vanessa, Pamela, Detra, Margaret, and Frank. 14 granchildren Tamarind, Dont'e, Kendrick,Keyleiah, tristan, Zachary, Barbara,Daniel, Dadron, Tanika, Elroy, Braelon, and Sidney.8- great grandchildren-Dremond, Devion, Jaylen,Christian, Madison, Jayden, Kedrean, A'laya. A son in law Michael that loved her dearly. He was her eating partner in crime. Sisters- Fidella,Toxie.Brothers-James Wallace and Robert Wallace.Momma had three special friends-Margaret Burgmon, Mary Chappelle and Mrs.Hazel Hughes. Momma had a host of other extended children,grandchildren. She was a very good friend a leader and guide. she was always there when you needed her. Her home was opened up to anyone who needed some where to stay. She always had a encouraging word for you. She would give you her last if she had it. She was a great comedian. could make you forget about whatever you were going through. Could turn a frown into a smile. When God made this mother he surley broke the mold, because besides Jesus mother this mother was the best of all. I miss her very much and I'm proud and was truly bleesed by God to have Ora Herman as my mother. Even though she's gone,she still visits me in spirit. Love you MOTHER!!!
